#64: Colorblind

He’s colorblind

He can’t see the world
Through your eyes
He won’t understand
Even when he tries

He’s colorblind

Where does he go?
Whom does he seek?
Everywhere he turns
To him it’s all bleak

Nothing to live for
Nothing to defend
His ideas dissolving
His beliefs are a trend

He lives in a gray world
Wants color to gain
But he’s blinded by jealousy
Selfishness and pain

He can’t find meaning
Or something to live for
He’s on top of the world
But he needs more

He’s colorblind

He doesn't quite grasp
What he should do
He cannot trust
What he thinks is true

How can he know
The good from the bad?
When present day morals
Are yesterday’s fad

He has no foundation
No place to call home
He’ll take a step forward
But have nowhere to go
