#67: Tears of my Enemies

Vengeance is a cup
A cup filled to the brim
To commemorate the moment
Where I claim my win

I vanquished my greatest rivals
Left them in cold defeat
They’ll never be the same
They’ll never claim my seat

I finally reached the top
And proved my haters wrong
I proved that I am greater
And have been all along

My enemies now locked away
Stripped of all they own
Chained up in a dank dungeon
Left to weep and moan

My guards go down to them
Armed with a mere cup
They hold it to my captives faces
So their tears would fill it up

Then as I feast in glory
Up in my great palace
The guards come to my table
And fill up my golden chalice

I eat the food of kings
But my drink is oh so clear
I want to taste the sweetness
Of every single tear

One thing I can’t ignore
As I wine and dine
The tears of my enemies
Their taste is just like mine

  1. Is this a poem commemorating Kobe Bean Bryant?

    1. Ha ha, that is probably how he viewed the game, like Conan the barbarian.
