We set sail, never to return,
To the unknown, new lessons to learn.
We sailed for weeks, but reached no end,
Sailing on and on by the oceans wind.
As it turns out, my logic's unsound,
The earth isn't flat, in fact its round.
Newness became familiar, we ended up home,
We circled the earth, nowhere else to roam.
But up, O up is where we'll go
To a place that the wind does not blow
To new lands meant touching the sky,
To get to the next world, we must fly.
The air found in my balloon,
Will help us to reach the moon.
We will defy this thing called gravity,
